The mission of World Figure Sport is to:
- Uphold, protect and expand the knowledge, art and competition of Figures & Fancy Skating worldwide.
- Provide a global brand/organization for artistic World Figure & Fancy Skating titles.
- Present the annual World Figure and Fancy Skating Championship, which brings together the Figures and Fancy Skating community for competitions, workshops, and celebration.
- Bring the Art of Figures and Fancy Skating to any place on earth.
- Create an innovative approach to the training of Skating Artists that welcomes diversity and ensures unanimous participation and achievement.
- Provide integrative education K-12 solutions that create function & creativity in life, expanding the love and knowledge of sports, arts & academics.
- Promote cultural sporting knowledge and competition of figure skating, including the practice of figure skating on black ice.
- Elevate figure skating beyond its role as a sport by uniting fine, performing, decorative and recording arts, drawing inspiration from the origins of figure skating in the Belle Epoque Era with jewels and art.
