The triumvirate of jewels, sport, and art converge at the World Figure & Fancy Skating Championships on black ice. World Figure Sport propels skating artists of all ages, levels, and nationalities to participate in the most artistic activity on earth. Through scholarships, World Figure Sport provides skating experiences to all economic stations, challenges, and all ages. We provide skating opportunities with “The Legends of The Lake,” luminaries from Lake Placid’s present, as well as passing on the knowledge of skating from the famous dynasties of its past.
Skating has needed a global brand/organization for artistic World Figure & Fancy Skating titles and World Figure Sport has created and answered this vital need since it’s historic founding. Legends from skating’s past and present have contributed to create this unique, historic and current event, and we are now in a position to expand upon what has been established and bring the art of Figures and Fancy Skating, to any place on earth
