World Figure Sport (WFS) has a vast skating archives. Donors may make contributions to the archives both financially and physically, which we greatly appreciate. If you are interested in adding to our collections, please contact the WFS Global Headquarters at 518-304-3029.
Ground breaking skating and art research occurs weekly within World Figure Sport’s Archives. WFS has even supplied new knowledge to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D. C. You can participate in our research live from your own home online every Tuesday evening at 8:40 p.m. EST – see listed under our Global School the Skating History & Research page.
Conventions, special events and parties may arrange to have engaging live presentations where we bring a part of the archive’s collections to life for your guests to enjoy an amazing cultural experiences with us.
The WFS Archives accepts:
First edition literary skating and art masterpieces from the Victorian and Edwardian eras and other time periods (other editions may be accepted).
Antique Skates, Blades and Trophies – all time periods
Modern Skates and Blades
Olympic Book, Pin and Medal Collections
Couture Gowns, Skating Costumes & Dress Collections
Skating, Jewels & Art Collections
Skating Memorabilia
